About me

Hi, I’m Kaila 🤍

I’ve always been fascinated by what creates meaningful change in people’s lives.

That curiosity led me to study Human Development, Psychology, Sociology, and a range of professional coaching techniques. I built an independent coaching practice, host a podcast with more than 10k lifetime downloads, and have spent hundreds of hours working one-on-one with people navigating major life transitions.

Along my journey as a life coach I’ve traveled extensively; I spent months Airbnb hopping, I lived in the PNW, I traveled through South Asia, then I lived in Bali for a while, then in the Midwest in the States, and I experienced seasons of uncertainty, heartbreak, and growth which helped me see that life rarely happens in a straight line and it rarely unfolds the way we think it will. Every chapter of my life up until now has shaped the way I think, the questions I ask, and the way I support others.

Today, my work centers on helping people gain clarity during transitional periods, when moving forward feels more difficult than it typically should. Whether you’re navigating a career change, a relationship, a major life decision, or simply feeling stuck, my goal is to help you understand yourself more deeply so you can move forward and into the next phase of your life, past the decisions and actions you need to take.

When I’m not coaching, you’ll usually find me reading a good book, writing poetry in a coffee shop, sitting somewhere beautiful and observing nature, traveling to new or familiar places solo or with family, drinking a glass of Cabernet or Tequila in low light, and finding new ways to find stillness and presence in a world that seems so loud and fast.

I love sending long voice notes to my friends all around the world, crop tops, house plants, sour candy, big glasses, lip balm, my liquid xanax body spray, wild flowers, and having the windows open on a cool and rainy day.

Thanks so much for being here and always remember; quiet the mind, listen within, and always follow the joy 🤍
